Its flag product, TensorOpera AI, provides unique features in enterprise AI platforms, model deployment, model serving, AI agent APIs, launching training/Inference jobs on serverless/decentralized GPU cloud, experimental tracking for distributed training, federated learning, security, and privacy.
History
TensorOpera, Inc. was founded in February 2022. With over 4,500 platform users from 500+ universities and 100+ enterprises, TensorOpera is enabling organizations of all sizes to build, deploy, and commercialize their own LLMs and Al agents. The company's enterprise customers span a wide range of industries, including generative Al/LLM applications, mobile ads/recommendations, AloT(logistics/retail), healthcare, automotive, and web3. The company has raised $13.2M seed round. As a fun fact, TensorOpera is currently located at the Silicon Valley "Lucky building" (165 University Avenue, Palo Alto, CA), where Google, PayPal, Logitech, and many other successful companies started.

Salman Avestimehr
Co-founder and CEO
Salman Avestimehr is a leading expert in machine learning, federated/decentralized learning, information theory, security/privacy, and blockchain systems, with more than 20 years of R&D leadership in both academia and industry. He has been a Dean’s Professor and the inaugural director of the USC-Amazon Center on Trustworthy Machine Learning at the University of Southern California. He has also held advisory positions at various Tech companies, including Amazon/Alexa-AI. Salman Avestimehr is a US Presidential award winner for his profound contributions in information technology, and a Fellow of IEEE. Aiden Chaoyang He
Co-founder and CTO
Aiden Chaoyang He received his Ph.D. degree from the CS department at the University of Southern California. He has research experience in machine learning, distributed systems, cloud computing, mobile computing, primarily distributed machine learning, and efficient training/serving of large foundation models (LLM, Vision Transformer). For these topics, he has published papers at ICML, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICLR, AAAI, MLSys, and VLDB, among others. He also has over 10 years industrial experience in AI, cloud computing, and mobile OS. Previously, he was an Engineering Manager, Principal Software Engineer at Tencent. He also worked at Google, Facebook, and Baidu.
